RECENT WORK

WEBSITE DESIGN AND BRANDING

Using existing visual assets, we redesigned the Frontier Collective's website to coincide with its launch.

This involved creating a brand identity for the organization, writing all the copy for the website, creating new pages, redesigning templates and components, setting up email capture and segmented mailing lists, establishing clear CTAs, and optimizing SEO.

After its launch, the website received a monthly average of 1.3 thousand visitors (up 183%), with 3.1 thousand pageviews per month (up 278%). Our SEO work also reduced the bounce rate by 11%

Alongside the website, we crafted a press release to announce the launch of the organization. It resulted in a media exclusive with premier tech publication The Logic, as well as articles in The National Post, Financial Post, The Vancouver Sun, BC Business, The Province, Vancouver Tech Journal, Techcouver, and others.

This article was successfully pitched and published in BC Business magazine - a leading publication in the province - on behalf of the VR/AR Association. It featured interviews from three top Silicon Valley executives, and was created to encourage local investors into funding seed rounds for B.C. companies.

On the day of its publication, it was shared more than 100 times on Facebook. Months after its release, BC Tech released a report showing the rise of foreign VC capital into the industry.

DIGITAL COMMUNICATIONS STRATEGIES

This press release was written on behalf of Tourism Vancouver, and recirculated by a number of high-profile local organizations, including the Vancouver Economic Commission, Creative BC, and the Vancouver Hotel Destination Association. It was part of a wider strategy that included event promotion on the website Eventbrite.

The release was designed to spotlight the presence of Vancouver's tech industry at the world-famous South By Southwest Festival (SXSW) in Austin, Texas, and helped ensure the free event had a packed house of international delegates.
